An Interview at South by Southwest
About 1:00PM, my daughter, son-in-law, and the two grandkids left for Spokane. We've had the G-kids with us for four weeks. That was four weeks of constant activity and fun. Now, it's very quiet. It will take me a few days to get used to it.
They will be with us until next Sunday, now.
Today we took them to the Space Needle. They'd never been before. It was a really good day for it. Couldn't see all the way to Canada, but Mount Baker and Mount Rainier showed up well.
Walking by Experience Music Project was too much of a temptation. We went in to the Sci-Fi Museum and C and I geeked out. The kids, not so much. There was a Serenity T-Shirt in the gift shop that I wanted to buy, but didn't.
Here's the design.

Dodi just about swooned over the Music Museum. She's 9,(or will be Friday) and is sure she'll be a rock and roll guitar player. She watched all the videos of rock and blues players. Even sat through a segment of Jimmy Hendrix with rapt attention.
We spent much longer than I'd planned. But, we all had fun.
After breakfast, Bug and I did our longest bike ride yet on the Interurban Trail. Then we went to the Kent Farmers Market for some fresh vegies and a snack. Next we all went to see Wall-E.
We might get to keep the G-Kids until August 7.
We took the Grand kids to the Burke Museum this afternoon. Then an early dinner at Ivar's Seafood Bar on Lake Union.
Haven't posted much lately. The Grandkids, Bug and Dodi, are staying with us until August. A typical day is:
9:00AM A bike ride on Interurban Trail with Bug.
11:30AM Youth 2 swim lesson with Dodi.
2:00PM Family Swim, all of us.
7:00PM PreComp (Pre-Competition) Swim with Bug.
The weekends are surprisingly busier.
